We serve clients across the Pulp & Paper, Power, Steel, and Petro-Chemical industries throughout the continental United States. Our team is made up of highly skilled tradespeople who take pride in delivering quality, safety, and precision on every job. We are currently seeking experienced and certified welders to join our field service team.

Job Description

We are hiring a Certified Welder with industrial experience to perform high-quality welding and fabrication work on-site at various customer facilities. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in multiple welding processes, comfortable working in diverse environments, and capable of working both independently and as part of a field service crew. This role involves frequent travel, hands-on fieldwork, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Perform structural and precision welding using SMAW (Stick), GTAW (TIG), and GMAW (MIG) techniques

Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and welding symbols

Fabricate, modify, and repair metal structures, machine components, and equipment supports

Assist in the installation and mechanical assembly of industrial equipment as needed

Work alongside millwrights, alignment technicians, and supervisors on industrial maintenance and construction projects

Follow all company safety policies and site-specific procedures

Maintain welding tools, equipment, and proper documentation of completed work

Required Qualifications

Valid welding certifications (AWS D1.1, ASME, or equivalent) – must be able to pass weld tests as required

3+ years of industrial welding experience, preferably in sectors such as power, steel, pulp & paper, or petrochemical

Proficiency in Stick, MIG, and TIG welding

Ability to cut, grind, bevel, and prep materials for welds

Experience with carbon steel, stainless steel, and other alloys

Ability to travel and work at various job sites across the U.S.

Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to assist with general millwright duties

Must be safety-conscious, reliable, and able to work in a physically demanding environment

OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Rigging and fabrication experience

Experience working on shutdowns, turnarounds, or capital projects

Forklift and aerial lift certification

Familiarity with welding in tight or elevated spaces
